Who is the course for?
This course is suitable for everyone, from complete beginners who have never sewn before, to more experienced sewists who want guidance, studio time, or help finishing a project. It’s ideal if you want flexibility and personalised support rather than a fixed curriculum.
What will I study in this class?
These are open-format sewing sessions, meaning you can choose what you’d like to work on each week. Over the four weeks, you may focus on:
- Learning how to use a sewing machine from scratch
- Dressmaking using commercial patterns
- Garment alterations and repairs
- Finishing an existing project
- Developing sewing skills at your own pace
Each class is 2 hours long, with hands-on guidance throughout. The content is shaped around your individual goals, whether that’s building confidence on a machine, altering clothes, or completing a garment.
