Native Denim Workshop Tour Only €25

Eco- Printing Class and Brunch €40

All three reduced from €85 to just €60!

12pm - Tour/ masterclass with native denim in the chocolate factory north king street

Native Denims run masterclasses where you will see and experience first hand what makes our jeans so special. It is our goal to open your mind to buy less, buy better. You will learn about the different denims available, how we construct our jeans and what to look out for when choosing a garment that has had love and care put into them during manufacture.

2pm -Brunch in blas cafe with Prosecco

2-4pm Eco printing class with Georgia shapes

In this workshop, we will discuss the magical technique of eco-printing or botanical printing, what fabrics are suitable and how to prepare them. You will be given a pre-cut piece of mordanted fabric (linen or silk), suitable for use as a hair scrunchie. You can then select from fresh flowers and natural dye plants to create your multi-coloured piece of wearable art, by rolling them up with your fabric and securing with elastic bands. We will steam the bundles for 45 mins - 1 hour to transfer the pigments from the plants to the fabric! Then we will unveil the prints, rinse in cool water and take home to dry and sew up into scrunchies .

What Our Students Are Saying:

I have been a student at the When Poppy Met Daisy's for 6 months , Lorna's style of giving individual attention rather than teaching in a class room setting is brilliant. After only a few classes I couldn’t believe how much I learned. I never thought that I’d be making my own dresses so quickly! It’s very rewarding and addictive, I’m always thinking of new ideas for what I can make next, plus it's so much fun!
